Rabbits
Wiggles, Buddy,
These
adorable bunnies are madly in love with each other ! It's just so
cute ! Thanks to Paul they can now be sweethearts without any extra
bunnies coming along ! Wiggles is very precious ...she's
6 years old now and she was the childrens first pet.
Buddy came to live with us when one of Emilys friends didn't want
him anymore. Bless him...look at that face, how could you not want
him ?!!

Rabbits
, Lily
Lily2004
: When I took this picture of Lily I'd just interupted her chewing
my sun mat ! Just the other day she chewed through my phone wire
and she likes to shred wallpaper and she's bitten through Jasmines
ear !
She also snuggles right in for cuddles, purrs and will fall asleep
on my lap! That just about sums her up....very mischievous and very
loving.
I love the one ear up and one ear down look...very quirky ! She
fancies Buddy too, but he only has eyes for Wiggles !

Rat
- Madeline
Madeline
is our pet rat! She is totally gorgeous and extremely intelligent!
We adopted her because her last owners were allergic to her. She
is the first rat I've ever had and I have to say that despite their
bad reputation, passed onto them from their wild cousins, that they
make fantastic pets! Before her I wouldn't have gone out and chosen
to get a pet rat but now I've had her I wouldn't hesitate on having
others. She likes riding on my shoulder and snuggling down inside
my fleece! She loves to be cuddled and she is very quick to learn
things.
She
is also good friends with Oscar, one of the chinchillas! They like
to chat to each other when she's out for her exercise! She has to
be kept separate from Lucy and Charlie, though because in the wild
chipmunks and rats are enemies. She's easy for the children to handle,
too, which they really enjoy.
Some
very sad news over the weekend........Maddie, our adorable, friendly
white rat died on Saturday night. She had a mild stroke about 2
weeks ago leaving her with less strength in one side.
She was still able to eat and play, though, and recovered quickly.
Unfortunately, she had another stroke on Friday afternoon.29th Ocboer
2004, I took her straight to the vets who prescribed a drug to help
the brain to recover from strokes, which you have to give quickly
after a stroke. I gave her this medicine twice, once when I got
home and once through the night along with drinks of water and little
bits of food. Sadly, when I checked on her at 5:00 am she had passed
away.
Please can you still print her photo anyway as she was a good friend
who changed my whole attitude to rats, and I'll miss her very much....

Chipmunk
Charlie
Lucy
likes to have a run around my bedroom and hide under the bed and
climb up the curtains! Charlie isn't quite tame enough ,yet, to
come back to his cage if I let him out but he's been watching Lucy
so he's getting the idea!
He'll let me cuddle him now, which he wouldn't let me do before,
so he's getting tamer.

Chipmunk Lucy
Charlie our handsome boy chipmunk ! Very beautiful and good company
for Lucy our other beautiful girly chipmunk.
The chipmunks share my bedroom with me and they're very well behaved.
They sleep through the night so they don't keep me awake!
