Rabbit Peter Rabbit
Peter
Rabbit is a tiny little 6 week old bunny with only 3 legs.
We got him yesterday 'cos he was being bullied by his littermates
who were all twice the size of him ! He's so cute..he fits in the
palm of my hand at the moment. I'll soon fatten him up a bit though
!

chinchillas Ollie
Ollie
was our second chinnie. He is a 3 year old beige male chinchilla.
He loves his cuddles and adores having his belly rubbed!

chinchillas Oriel
Oriel
is just coming up for a year old. He is a male Wilson White chinnie.
His last owner had to move to a flat and didn't have enough room
to take him with her. A friend phoned and told me about him ,when
she heard that Theo had died, and asked if we'd like to give him
a home.
He is very cuddly and snuggles up on my lap when I'm watching T.V.
in the evenings ! I named him Oriel after a character in a book
I was reading when we got him. (I don't know what his original name
was). In this book Oriel was an angel.
I thought that the name really suited him because he's white, totally
adorable and loving, and the time when we got him was just after
Theo died, so we felt that he was heaven sent.
chinchillas Oscar,
Oscar
was our first chinchilla. He is a 3 year old brown velvet male chinchilla
. He loves to be stroked but isn't big on cuddles. He gives lovely
kisses, though ! I get a goodnight kiss from him every night !

chinchillas theo
We
had a gorgeous little grey chinchilla named Theo. Sadly he died
on 28th June this year. He'd been poorly on and off for about three
months and at the end there was nothing more we could do for him.
He was such a sweet little character and we miss him very much.
He was Emilys favourite he was the grey one
with black eyes. We got the digi cam after he died so we haven't
been able to take any more pics of him. He shared the big cage with
Oscar.
The roborovski hamsters - Jenny, Natasha and Lizzy (after Atomic
Kitten)!!!
Natasha
turned out to be a boy and we changed his name to Nathan !
We found this out when I found a litter of 4 babies in their cage
!!
They were so cute....really tiny ! The first litter we sold and
then we let them have a second litter so we could split them up
into groups of boys and girls. The second litter had 2 boys and
2 girls ,which was lucky, so I split them into the 2 groups as I
didn't want more babies but I didn't want Nathan to be lonely !!
Roborovski hamsters are little dwarf hamsters and don't like to
be on their own. The normal bigger hamsters that you see , the syrian
hamsters , have to be kept alone otherwise they kill each other!

Gerbils.
There are eight in total - Alfie, Henry, Annie, Little Emily, Imogen,
Amy, Beth and Scribble.
......These
have all died now, sorry ! They all lived to a good old age though
! The gerbils that you have the photo of were Annie, Little Emily
and Imogen. Maybe you could still put it in anyway in memory of
them!
Annie is the black one.

chinchill
Lola
I
decided to adopt the little girly chinchilla I was talking to you
about when you came down. Surprise surprise ! She's very sweet,
although quite shy at the moment. We only got her yesterday so she's
still settling in at the moment. She hasn't been handled much so
I'll have to try and tame her up a bit! She's approx 2 yrs old and
she's the same colour as Oriel. She was called Loopy, but I think
that is a bit mean so I've changed her name to Lola.

Hamish "black & white cat"
Just wondering if any Cats out three would like a pen-pal?!
If they do , then I know just the cat for him to be in touch with.
His name is Hamish, he's 7 years old and as daft as a brush. His
hobbies sleeping, napping, snoozing, relaxing and being made a fuss
of.
He has recently had to leave his second home and be parted from
his brother,Tom,who is still living at this second home. You know
what they say about three being a crowd? Well, whilst Tom was getting
all lovey dovey with their new owner, Hamish was spending the whole
time hiding under the bed feeling left out. He got so miserable
that he had to go back to the cat & kitten rescue.....except
he didn't quite make it back there and had a little detour on the
way to a kind mug...I mean a kind lady and her two children.
So If Any Cats out there does wish to e-mail me i would be grateful.

Remus
Puppy
Hmmm.....
others said that until they met him!
I think people think I just went out and got a puppy one day as
a spur of the moment thing
(like I usually do with small animals)!! Understandable, I guess!!
Before we had him he was living in a flat with small children and
rabbits running round the kitchen. He didn't touch the rabbits and
was gentle with the toddlers.
I took him for a few walks, had him round here for a few evenings,
phoned up the vets to get information about vaccinations etc., spoke
to numerous people in cat/dog households to get hints and generally
planned it all and did each stage very carefully and with a lot
of thought.(Unusual for me I know, but that's what I did)! He's
a very gentle dog, he doesn't scare the animals, possibly except
Hamish in the beginning but he is now fine.
Hamish is sat on a chair next to my computer and Remus is laying
at my feet!! Not bad going when he's only been here six days! Hamish
likes the higher up places! I fitted a stair gate for Hamish so
he can get upstairs and Remus can't follow so he can get his space.
I've enrolled Remus in training classes which he started last night...he's
actually pretty good already, I can let him run off his lead and
he comes when he's called and can "sit" and last night
at puppy school he learnt "down". He doesn't chew stuff
except his own toys and he's already house trained! Oh yes...
